पहाड़ियों पर पहुँच कर भक्त अपने सारे दुःख भूल जाता है और माँ के धुन में लीन हो जाता है। माता अपने भक्तों पर दया एवं करूणा भाव रखती हैं। मान्यता है कि माता के दरबार में जैसी कामना लेकर भक्त पहुंचता है, माता उसकी उसी कामना ज़रूर पूरी करती हैं। जो भक्त सच्चे मन से माता के दरबार में पहुंचता है मात उसे आशीर्वाद ज़रूर देती है।

बद्रीनाथ, केदारनाथ, गंगोत्री तथा यमुनोत्री - हिन्दू धर्म के प्राचीनतम प्रमूख धाम

बदरीनाथ उत्तर दिशा में हिमालय पर स्थित, हिन्दुओं का मुख्य यात्रा धाम माना जाता है| बदरीनारायण मंदिर, अलकनंदा नदी के किनारे उत्तराखंड राज्य में स्थित है। बदरीनाथ में भगवान विष्नु का विशाल मन्दिर है और विष्‍णु की विशेष पूजा होती है| बदरीनाथ धाम की यात्रा आध्यात्मिक तथा रोमांचक है| इस मन्दिर में अखण्डदीप हमेशा जलते रहता है|

केदारनाथ, केदार नामक चोटी पर स्थित है और देश के बारह ज्योतिर्लिंगों में से एक है| केदारनाथ, मंदाकिनी नदी के समीप उत्तराखंड में है और मंदिर ६ फुट उचे चबूतरे पर बना है। इस प्राचीन मन्दिर का निर्माण पाण्डवों ने किया था| केदारनाथ में भगवान शिव के साथ कई और भगवानो की पूजा अर्चना की जाती है।
